Always look on the bright side. Being an optimist can help you live longer ?

Studies have shown that optimism is beneficial for your overall health and wellbeing. It is especially linked to a healthy heart ? and can help ward off diseases.

Optimists have lower blood pressure, which reduces the risk of coronary artery disease (Harvard and Boston Universities).

People who look on the bright side usually have healthier behaviors as well. These behaviors include diet and exercise, which contribute to longevity.

Even in the midst of having a bad day, find a positive. Even if you have to make it up. The attitude of gratitude helps to shift all things in a more beneficial way.

Here’s to being healthy!
