Ingredients:

  • 1 large avocado
  • 20 strips low-sodium, nitrite-free bacon (Applegate – Whole Foods)

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to broil.
  • Pre-cook bacon until tender so they can still be wrapped around the avocado.
  • Slice each half of avocado into 5 thin strips. Cut the thin strips in half giving you 10 thin strips per half of the avocado.
  • Wrap pre-cooked bacon around each strip of avocado.
  • Place on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet and in the oven. Stay close, cook until the bacon is crisp.
