This is what I’ll be taking to Thanksgiving dinner at my aunt’s house next week! Who can resist anything served with bacon? 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 lbs fresh Brussels sprouts, cut in half
  • 6 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Himalayan salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 8 slices uncooked thick-cut bacon, cut into 1/2 inch strips
  • 2 Tablespoons avocado oil
  • 4-6 Tablespoons pure maple syrup

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
  2. Place Brussels sprouts in a single layer in baking dish.
  3. Drizzle with avocado oil & maple syrup; toss to coat.
  4. Sprinkle with bacon & garlic.
  5. Season with salt & pepper.
  6. Roast in preheated oven until bacon is crispy and Brussels sprouts are caramelized, 45 minutes, stirring halfway through.
