When you think of the phrase, “Self Care,” what immediately comes to your mind?

Don’t overthink it! Just share the first thing that pops into your mind.

What is it?

The whole concept of self care has become increasingly talked about in the last couple of years.

Everyone has ideas about what healthy self care is.

Want to know what I think? Spoiler: I’m going to tell you anyway.

I believe that self care is what YOU should do to take care of YOU!

It’s not a one size fits all kind of deal.

Something that fills my cup isn’t going to be the same as what works for you.

So here are my top 3 ways to re-energize:

  1. Hiking in the backcountry away from reality.
  2. Afternoon power nap on the weekend when I can.
  3. Prepping and enjoying healthy meals with my family.

Remember, these are things that I do for self care! And chances are, they will differ from what you would pick.

And that is exactly how it should be!
