This is what I’ll be taking to Thanksgiving dinner at my aunt’s house next week! Who can resist anything served with bacon?
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 lbs fresh Brussels sprouts, cut in half
- 6 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
- 1 teaspoon Himalayan salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 8 slices uncooked thick-cut bacon, cut into 1/2 inch strips
- 2 Tablespoons avocado oil
- 4-6 Tablespoons pure maple syrup
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
- Place Brussels sprouts in a single layer in baking dish.
- Drizzle with avocado oil & maple syrup; toss to coat.
- Sprinkle with bacon & garlic.
- Season with salt & pepper.
- Roast in preheated oven until bacon is crispy and Brussels sprouts are caramelized, 45 minutes, stirring halfway through.
